It’s called Feed the Needy. It’s a chance for local law enforcement officers and South Mississippians to team up on Christmas morning and help the less fortunate. For more than a quarter century, Harrison County has thrown this early morning party. Volunteers gather at the Lyman Community Center. They spend about an hour filling plates with traditional holiday food. And then, they head out in their sleighs and deliver food and fellowship to people who need a helping hand.
